Greene Jungle Farm is a small sustainable family farm located in the rolling hills of Ridgefield in Southwest Washington. We raise a diverse variety of farm products, including pastured meats, eggs, vegetables, and fruit. We are proud to announce our farm is Animal Welfare Approved (AWA). AWA is a food label for meat and dairy products that come from farm animals raised to the highest animal welfare and environmental standards. Click above to read more about the certification. Our star product is naturally raised meat from pastured pigs, grass fed cattle and sheep. As you read more about our farm, be sure to visit our products and store pages to find out how to purchase healthy, delicious, and nutritious food - straight from our family’s farm to your family’s table. We began farming in the fall of 2011 when we excitedly purchased our first cows, plowed a garden, and planned our fruit orchard. Our family chose a system of farm stewardship that created an interactive ecosphere that is free from pesticides, herbicides, hormones, antibiotics, and inhumane animal treatment. This enables us to eat healthy food and to expand our farm to make a living selling nutritious food to our community. We have grown over the years and are excited to offer our website to let you know the various food products we currently have available. The farm itself is approximately 26 acres. The majority of our land is pasture that allows for rotational grazing and summer haying. Our fields are divided by a seasonal creek that is bordered by shady bands of riparian vegetation, a choice that provides habitat for numerous wildlife species. Greene Jungle Farm is our home, home to our livestock, and home to Ridgefield’s native creatures. We are excited to share the fruits of our labor with your family. |
